Integrate a rotating table powered by a stepper motor. The operator activates the table indexing by pressing a foot pedal, causing the stepper motor to rotate the table in 90-degree increments.
How?
Mechanical Design:
Performed calculations to size the motor and gearbox for the application properly. Reviewed table design and coordinated with fabricators on the process of operations when making the table.
Electrical Design:
Developed and assembled an electrical diagram using EasyEDA and performed power calculations to accommodate all the electrical hardware needed for the project
PLC Programing:
Programmed and configured Productivity 2000 PLC using the Productivity Suite software.
