What?
Designed and assembled an alarm system that goes off when the light in a room is on and no one is present.

How?
Used Fusion 360 to design a component to keep in place both an ultra-sonic sensor and a photoresistor. Applied physics principles of light reflection to design a sustainable fixture to optimize light absorbed by the photoresistor. Manufactured these components by using a 3D printer. Programmed an Arduino UNO to compose my alarm system when a body is not present in a room.


Results?
Decreased electric bill amount and prevented punishment from parent guardian for leaving the light on after parting from the room.
